This engine serves up a commanding 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, and it is expected to achieve some outstanding fuel economy numbers as well, though EPA estimates have not yet been released.

More Powerful V6 and V8 Engines

For those who insist on a more traditional powertrain setup, the new Camaro does not disappoint. The 3.6L V6 has returned to deliver more power than the 2015 model up to 335 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque. As for the 6.2L V8 on the SS models, it dishes out a robust 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.
