2018 Camaro Changes You Can Expect
Due to recent updates, Chevrolet is not expected to make large, sweeping changes to the 2018 Camaro, although drivers will gain access to the sporty ZL1 model this year. This trim will only be available with the manual transmission and will also offer an adjustable suspension, track-inspired tires for better traction, and a large front air dam and rear spoiler for enhanced aerodynamics to enhance this model’s track-ready performance.
The 2018 Camaro will continue to be offered with a wide range of available powertrain options, including a 2.0 L four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 275 hp, a 3.6 L V6 motor that generates 335 hp, and the 6.2 L V8 powerplant available on the SS models—capable of pushing out up to 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. For those who demand even more power under the hood, the ZL1 powerplant will serve up as much is 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Additional specs weren’t available at the time of this writing.
