The 2018 Chevrolet Impala Release Date

As with some of the other models in the lineup, Chevrolet is expected to release the 2018 Chevrolet Impala in the fourth quarter of this year, putting them on showroom floors right around the holidays. Check back here often and we will advise you of any changes to that timeline.

The 2018 Chevrolet Impala Updates

While there aren’t any sweeping changes to the vehicle’s exterior styling, drivers can anticipate quite a few changes to the standard and available features list, as well as access to handsome new colors. Siren Red Tintcoat is off the menu for the coming model year, but drivers get access to Nightfall Gray Metallic, Graphite Metallic, and Cajun Red Tintcoat in its place. Chevy has also removed the 19-inch aluminum wheels, LPO accessory level appearance package and the Protection Package in favor of a new Sunroof and Spoiler package which is said to include a new power tilt-sliding sunroof with rear fixed glass sunroof and power sunshade.

Inside, the sedan gets a list of new touches as well, including standard features like keyless open and start, a rear vision camera, a premium cloth interior, Chevrolet MyLink infotainment, an 8-inch color touchscreen intercace, and a USB connection on the LS trim. The LT trim gets a standard remote vehicle starting system and LED daytime running lamps. The Premier model will now have standard Chevrolet MyLink infotainment with navigation, a Universal Home Remote, a Bose Centerpoint surround sound system, and wireless charging.
