Expect Big Things With Next Year’s Update
While the 2018 won’t debut with radical changes to the truck’s overall design, drivers can look forward to a number of improvements that will set it firmly apart from the 2017 models. Foremost, according to GM Authority, is a change in color palette with Siren Red Tintcoat and Pepperdust Metallic making way for Cajun Red Tintcoat and Havana Metallic.
The interior gets an update as well, with the addition of a 4.2-inch color display with Chevy MyLink coming to the work truck trim, as well as the addition of a 6-speaker audio system which takes the place of the 4-speaker model currently featured on all trims. The rear vision camera also becomes standard on all models, making backing and trailering the big truck much easier. Other improvements include new decals for the Z71 and 4X4 models, a tire fill alert on the tire pressure monitoring system, and expanded availability of the optional 110-volt power supply.
