2018 Chevrolet Spark Release Date and Changes
While Chevrolet has yet to provide an expected release date for the 2018 Spark, industry experts believe that it will align with the typical release dates that other models have used over the years. If true, this means that we can expect to see the 2018 Spark roll into dealerships sometime in the late summer or early fall of this year.
Because the popular Spark is so new, it’s unlikely that drivers will see many changes in the upcoming release. Chevy has, however, confirmed the deletion of the Kalamata exterior color, in favor of a brighter Sorbet exterior color. There are no other announced changes for 2018 at this time.
Current Model Highlights
For drivers who want the latest features, but don’t want to wait for the new models to roll out, this lack of changes is good news. The 2017 Chevy Spark is already loaded with the more outstanding features than many of its competitors, including:
- Efficient Engine: The 1.4L ECOTEC engine delivers an EPA-estimated 39 mpg/highway fuel efficiency with a cruising range of up to 285.2 total miles.
- Advanced Technology: The Spark features a rear vision camera, Chevrolet MyLink infotainment with 7-inch touchscreen color monitor, hands-free calling, and more.
- Abundant Safety: In addition to 10 standard airbags, the Spark is equipped with standard safety features like Hill Start Assist, OnStar basic, StabiliTrak, and Tire Pressure Monitoring.
