2017 Chevrolet Traverse SUV Trim Lineup

Available in five different trim levels, the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse is back this year with a new top trim level—the Premier. This V6-powered midsize crossover gives you lots of room for the whole family, all your cargo, and plenty of high-tech features like Chevy MyLink, a portable Wi-Fi hotspot, and OnStar telematics. On top of that, it starts at an MSRP from only $28,700. See if this is the right crossover for you and your passengers by taking a closer look at each of the available trim levels.

Starting at an MSRP from $28,700, the base trim of the Traverse comes with a 6.5-inch touchscreen interface with a USB port and Bluetooth phone connectivity. Like all trims in the lineup, it’s powered by a 3.6L V6 and makes a confident 281 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. On the outside, you’ll get 17-inch steel wheels, roof rails, and auto headlights. This model is the only one offered only with front-wheel drive.

The LS trim resembles the Base LS in most ways, but it adds the option of sending power to an AWD system to the mix, as well as the ability to upgrade with a number of different option upgrades. This model starts at an MSRP from $31,300.

Next in the lineup is the 1LT, which starts at $34,100 MSRP and rides in on 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, you’ll get more sophisticated features like a power driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and rear parking sensors. This model can also heat up while you’re inside thanks to the remote start system. Heated mirrors and foglamps are included as well.

The second highest trim in the Traverse lineup comes in at $36,650 MSRP. It features a number of exciting upgrades, beginning with tech and entertainment additions like the Chevy MyLink touchscreen interface and infotainment system, Bluetooth audio connectivity that lets you stream music without plugging it in right from you phone, and a 10-speaker Bose stereo system. You’ll also get heated front seats and captain’s chairs in the second row, reducing seating capacity from eight to seven.

The top trim in the lineup starts at $42,045 MSRP. It gets a dual exhaust system that increases output to 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque and comes with luxurious upgrades like leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. You’ll also get driver assist features like blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and lane departure alert.
