Bought a brand new corvette that had a paint defect from the factory. Salesman told me to go through service, called several times a day and couldn’t get through. Final got through to the body shop and they took my information and said that they will call me back. That never happened. It’s been one month since purchase and I still can’t get through to service. No other dealer will work on the car due to the lack of certification needed to fix it. Once you they sale you a car they could care less about you.

A big Thankyou to Chris! My husband and I were looking for a car and we found ourselves in Florence (we do not reside there). We had driven a good hour to get to Florence just to look at our car of choice which we searched for on the internet. Chris was very welcoming when we walked into the dealership and assisted us with all the information we needed. We test drove the car and bought it. We are still waiting for pickup and eagerly await the new Pirelli tires my husband requested to be replaced on it. We appreciate all of his efforts in sealing a deal with his manager for us! The best car purchase in sale experience ever! The staff was genuine and very considerate. My sales person was so friendly did not offer what I did not need or want and always had the perfect solution in answer for me. Cheyenne was the best ever. I think I’ll buy all my cars from Tom Gil! from now on. It was worried that only purchasing it lower value car would cause a dealership to not give me the care, attention and options I needed at the time, but there was not A difference in the quick easy considerate process at all such a relief and such a comfortable dealership thank you so much. I’m deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Tom
I’m deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Tom Gill Chevrolet. My grandmother visited this dealership with the hope of purchasing a new car, but unfortunately, she felt taken advantage of. The sales team seemed to exploit her lack of familiarity with car buying, pushing her towards decisions that weren’t in her best interest. We were particularly concerned about high-pressure sales tactics, misleading information and the sales person being extremely rude. It’s disheartening to see such practices, especially when dealing with someone as vulnerable as my grandmother. Christian Scothorn was our sales rep and he had zero clue what he was doing and harassed my 75 year old grandma non stop to come and buy the car when he knew we were waiting on the GM friends and family code. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages the dealership to improve its approach to customer service. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and honesty, regardless of their age or experience. We will never do business with Tom Gill.

It was easy to schedule time to test drive and meet with a sales rep. However, the actual purchasing experience was not great, as I felt rushed to make a decision on warranties to select, and it felt like pulling teeth to get an understanding of how discounts were applied and how warranties worked. I do not feel the dealership worked hard to get me a good interest rate despite a strong credit report.

I made this clear to Tyler, and he was still more than willing to help me out and answer all my questions. He even offered to go get the vehicle I had questions about, even though there were none on the lot at the time. The best car purchase in sale experience ever! The staff was genuine and very considerate. My sales person was so friendly did not offer what I did not need or want and always had the perfect solution in answer for me. Cheyenne was the best ever. I think I’ll buy all my cars from Tom Gil! from now on. It was worried that only purchasing it lower value car would cause a dealership to not give me the care, attention and options I needed at the time, but there was not A difference in the quick easy considerate process at all such a relief and such a comfortable dealership thank you so much. I wish I would’ve known about Tom Gill earlier.!

Bobby has been attempting to purchase my 21 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited with 57k miles for the past few weeks. It had some warranty work done on it and was in the shop, but for the record, NADA and KBB value my car at trade-in alone at $17-19k. This is a very clean and in very good condition vehicle, mind you, with a flawless service record even with a bit of extra maintenance. Long story short, Bobby decided to be extremely unprofessional today after trying to haggle me down on the $20k I’m asking (because I want a private sale price). Bobby’s comment after he asked me again if I’m willing to go down and I said no is as follows: ‘I understand, I’d want to get above market value for my car as well. How long do you think it will be till you gain some more flexibility?’ It’s unprofessional and uncalled for. It was a sarcastic quip that shows you the integrity of this ‘dealer acquisitions specialist.’ I’ll pass on the opportunity to ever do business here, along with letting others know.

I went in thinking I was just going to sell my 2012 Chevy
I went in thinking I was just going to sell my 2012 Chevy Sonic for what I could get for it, TG offered $1700 for it when I was expecting way less than that. I ended up trading it in for a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer with less than 50k miles on it and multiple features that I've never had before. Needless to say, it was a HUGE upgrade!!! The funny this is, I wasn't planning on purchasing another Chevy this day and was looking more towards a newer Toyota or Honda. I completely fell in love with The trailblazer and so glad I ended up with it. Thank you so so much Jordan Holt for your patience & understanding. I really appreciate that you weren't pushy, you were knowledgeable and had a better idea of what I wanted than I did for myself!😁 This Experience was SUPER easy, I still can't believe it lol

While my car was in service (oil change and new rims) I
While my car was in service (oil change and new rims) I was brought a rental which had a flat tire when it was pulled up front. The second rental brought to me had a flat within a couple hours of driving off the premises. I didn’t hit anything and called the service manager to express my concerns that this tire may have also been damaged prior to leaving the lot. I patched the tire and retuned it. They said I should have inspected the tires prior to leaving and my honesty would result in a 200 + bill. I would imagine this would have been difficult for any customer to inspect without the car being lifted. I also doubt they would have noticed if I hadn’t mentioned it since They had no inspection paperwork to share with me where their team inspected the car prior to handing off to me. All that was done was a quick walk around. It took the service manager several days to respond and when I expressed how his response would challenge future business with Tom Gill including the new car I was buying and upcoming paint job etc. (not to mention I just purchased a brand new blazer from them) I never received another response from anyone on their team after I sent this message. I then messaged the sales team letting them know I would no longer move forward with future purchase. The service manager still has not responded

Non hassle establishment. They allow you to look around and not feel pressured. Tyler Herman is the go to sales rep, he was up front, professional and worked within my budget. He showed me perks that would give me an advantage over a long term investment and was light on the wallet. He’s excellent in making you feel comfortable and helping you find what it is you desire. I went in with my guard up and this was the most pleasant experience i have ever had at any dealership. I probably asked him 150 different questions and he was patient and clarified everything. Not once did he try to back out on his word and made sure I was his priority. It’s safe to say this man is an asset and by all means reputable. A one and a million to find. If there was anyone who was looking for a vehicle Tyler Herman would be the man I would refer every time. He is polite, he is patient and he is Courteous. His light personality and his professionalism mixed in with his integrity made it feel as if he was only on your side. He gets no commission based off what he sells you. He will find you the best deal and he will reassure you and your wallet.

Do not recommend buying from them!!! I bought my Ford Expedition from them last year. It had 30k miles on it and 1 previous owner. I have gotten all required maintenance including premium oil changes as needed. my transmission went out last week and needs replaced. We have the lifetime powertrain warrant through Tom Gill and they said it’s covered. We were 192 miles over on ONE oil change and they just called to say they won’t cover it and I’m basically screwed. I call Ford and ask about the manufacture warranty because I’m right at 60k miles and they tell me that there was a 100k mile warranty purchased on my car by the previous owner and should have been transferred by Tom Gill when I bought it!!! It would cover the transmission but it’s voided because Tom Gill associates did not transfer it to us or even mention it! Get this, no one will call us back after requesting to speak with Tom Gill and countless voicemails and transferred calls have been made with no response. They still have my car after TWO+ weeks!! They are not in it for the customer care, that’s for sure. No one there has any compassion either. Consider this your warning. So hopefully they can take 5 minutes out of their day to respond to this?
