Bobby has been attempting to purchase my 21 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited with 57k miles for the past few weeks. It had some warranty work done on it and was in the shop, but for the record, NADA and KBB value my car at trade-in alone at $17-19k. This is a very clean and in very good condition vehicle, mind you, with a flawless service record even with a bit of extra maintenance. Long story short, Bobby decided to be extremely unprofessional today after trying to haggle me down on the $20k I’m asking (because I want a private sale price). Bobby’s comment after he asked me again if I’m willing to go down and I said no is as follows: ‘I understand, I’d want to get above market value for my car as well. How long do you think it will be till you gain some more flexibility?’ It’s unprofessional and uncalled for. It was a sarcastic quip that shows you the integrity of this ‘dealer acquisitions specialist.’ I’ll pass on the opportunity to ever do business here, along with letting others know.

While my car was in service (oil change and new rims) I

While my car was in service (oil change and new rims) I was brought a rental which had a flat tire when it was pulled up front. The second rental brought to me had a flat within a couple hours of driving off the premises. I didn’t hit anything and called the service manager to express my concerns that this tire may have also been damaged prior to leaving the lot. I patched the tire and retuned it. They said I should have inspected the tires prior to leaving and my honesty would result in a 200 + bill. I would imagine this would have been difficult for any customer to inspect without the car being lifted. I also doubt they would have noticed if I hadn’t mentioned it since They had no inspection paperwork to share with me where their team inspected the car prior to handing off to me. All that was done was a quick walk around. It took the service manager several days to respond and when I expressed how his response would challenge future business with Tom Gill including the new car I was buying and upcoming paint job etc. (not to mention I just purchased a brand new blazer from them) I never received another response from anyone on their team after I sent this message. I then messaged the sales team letting them know I would no longer move forward with future purchase. The service manager still has not responded

Last fall we looked at vehicles for the first time since

Last fall we looked at vehicles for the first time since the pandemic. A LOT had changed at the local dealer lots we visited - very few sales people, very few car selections, prices sky high, and very little interaction with customers period. So we were not expecting much when we started searching again this summer for a new to us car. We happened upon Tom Gill's dealership through a chevroley certified used site search for a Chevy Bolt EV. I asked a question and before you knew it - a salesperson Jessika Hensley - was reaching out to us by email, text - asking us to make an appointment, letting us know all the great things. We get to the dealership the next day - and it's like pre-pandemic in the dealership! Customers everywhere, lounges & food counter setup and fully open, salespeople, technicians everywhere! The car lot was fully packed with cars - it was great! Jessika answered all of our questions, had the 2 cars we wanted to look at already pulled up and ready to go when we arrived, and we got right to test driving both of them. Then Jessika even handled the finance part of the buying experience. She knew everything - and everyone - to help get us the best available financing possible. She clearly knows what she is doing and does both sales & finance with expert skill! During the process, we even had two different sales managers stop by the office, asked if we had questions, got us beverages, and also told us the awards that Jessika has won and how awesome she was. We walked out of the dealership with a great vehicle, great warranty, and one of the best car buying experiences we have ever encountered. Thank you Jessika Hensley & Tom Gill Chevrolet for a perfect experience!!
