The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is both more accessible and better equipped than the model it replaces. The entry level L trim is new for 2015 and offers much of what is great about this crossover at a lower price. It features both four-cylinder and V6 engine options and comes equipped with alloy wheels, automatic headlights, Bluetooth, cruise control, and OnStar telematics.
For the first time, the OnStar system doubles as a 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection that up to seven devices can connect to simultaneously when they are in or around the vehicle. Riding in the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is comfortable, convenient, and keeps you more connected.
The 2014 Chevrolet Equinox is notable for how well-rounded it is. It has a pair of distinct engine options, allowing you to prioritize either fuel efficiency or power depending on your needs. The Equinox received excellent crash test ratings from the NHTSA, including perfect scores for side impact protection.
There’s over 60 cubic feet of overall space for cargo, as well as lots of head and legroom in every seating position. Additionally, it comes standard with exciting features like keyless entry, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, OnStar, and satellite radio. At upper level trims you can even find chrome alloy wheels, Pandora compatibility, a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system, and performance upgrades.
The 2013 Chevrolet Equinox represents a major upgrade over the versions that preceded it. A more powerful 3.6L V6 engine that produces 301 hp and 272 lb-ft of torque is now available, increasing the towing capacity of this model to 3,500 pounds. This version of the Equinox, like all versions, offers an accessible blend of cargo and passenger space.

Chevrolet was early to embrace advanced safety features, and the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox does a lot to keep everyone onboard secure. Forward collision alert and lane-departure warning systems are both available in this model year, and a rearview camera comes standard on the 1LT trim.
It’s thanks to features like that that the IIHS gave the 2012 Equinox a top rating of “Good” in the frontal-offset and side-impact crash tests Other exciting features available include a seven-inch touchscreen, heated front seats, and a premium Pioneer audio system that produces pristine sound.
Even in earlier iterations, this vehicle offers impressive options.
